Job DescriptionWe are seeking a
Materials Planner to manage end-to-end material planning and drive service, inventory, and operational performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role sits at the center of operations-partnering with production, procurement, and suppliers to ensure the right materials are available at the right time to meet customer demand.
You will play a key role in optimizing planning parameters, improving supply chain performance, and supporting new product introductions while driving continuous improvement across the planning process.
What You'll Do- Own material planning and replenishment to ensure on-time delivery while balancing inventory levels and production capacity
- Maintain and optimize SAP planning parameters (e.g., safety stock, lead times, supplier data) to improve system accuracy and performance
- Analyze demand, supply constraints, and production schedules to proactively identify risks and prevent shortages or excess
- Manage purchase orders, monitor system recommendations, and follow through on changes to maintain supply continuity
- Partner cross-functionally with production, procurement, sales, and suppliers to resolve supply chain issues and drive alignment
- Lead supplier escalations and collaborate on solutions to improve delivery performance and responsiveness
- Track and improve key KPIs such as service levels, inventory, and cost performance
- Support new product launches, phase-ins/outs, and engineering changes while minimizing obsolescence risk
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and data accuracy

QualificationsWhat You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of supply chain planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Additional InformationThe pay range for this position is $77,000-$88,000 per year, based on experience.
