Job Summary: Lead the execution of logistical operations to include receiving, warehousing, and shipping. Perform a wide variety of tasks such as planning, scheduling, coordinating, and reporting of product movement in support of the manufacturing workflow.
Job Responsibilities:- Validating previous transactions for discrepancies and ensures internal specifications are met and traceability requirements are 100% accurate
- Overseeing receiving functions related to purchased parts and incoming supplies, and shipping of finished and semi-finished parts
- Managing and monitoring storage of purchased parts and finished goods
- Handling raw materials and finished materials in compliance with internal electrostatic discharge policies and procedures
- Issuing material to work orders; follows bill of material and work order routing
- Tracking material scrap; act or make recommendations to reduce or eliminate
- Assuring write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory
- Identifying opportunities to reduce materials and consumable costs and charges
- Implement and maintain inventory management monthly review process
- Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements
- Researching and reconciling inventory anomalies
- Processing MRP transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Execution and accuracy of daily cycle count and year-end inventory
- Following all company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 7 years' experience in Logistics and 3 years of Logistics supervision
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software
- Experience with government contracting requirements related to inventory, shipping, and receiving
- Trade compliance experience
- Domestic and international shipping experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
