About the job: - Lead and oversee end-to-end material planning activities for ingredients and components supporting the Chattanooga manufacturing site.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective material availability to meet production schedules and business demands.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for a team of Strategic Material Planners, driving performance and continuous improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quality, finance, and commercial teams to align material planning strategies with operational goals.
- Monitor material supply risks and implement proactive solutions to support supply chain continuity and site performance.
- Drive planning excellence through inventory optimization, process improvements, and effective material management practices.
- Support overall business objectives by strengthening supply chain resilience and ensuring reliable material flow across the Chattanooga facility.
Main responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Strategic Material Planners, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute material planning strategies to ensure ingredient and component availability aligns with production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Serve as the primary material planning liaison between the Chattanooga site and corporate supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
- Own the site-level S&OP process, providing accurate planning inputs and supporting business decision-making across the organization.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics, including inventory turns, service levels, fill rates, supplier performance, and material availability.
- Drive inventory optimization, risk mitigation, and supply continuity initiatives through effective forecasting, safety stock strategies, and supplier collaboration.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve supply challenges, improve planning processes, support new product launches, maintain ERP data accuracy, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
About you:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field required; MBA, MS in Supply Chain, or similar advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, material planning, or operations, including 3+ years of leadership experience managing planning teams.
- Proven experience supporting raw material, ingredient, and component planning within manufacturing, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or consumer health environments.
- Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams and influence cross-functional partners.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and financial management capabilities, including experience with inventory optimization, budgeting, working capital metrics, and data-driven decision making.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), planning and forecasting tools, and reporting platforms such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar certification preferred; knowledge of FDA, GMP, RoHS, Lean, Six Sigma, and supply chain risk management principles strongly desired, with willingness to travel as needed.

The salary range for this position is: $98,250.00 - 141,916.66 USD
All Compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
