About the RoleThis role is designed for professionals with a background in Material Planning and that have a proven track record delivering products to market. Material Planner II's act with high levels of urgency and take a proactive approach to material planning and problem solving. You will be integrated with a cross functional team and are responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely procurement of materials to support production schedules, while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs. Material Planner II's should be familiar with engineering, procurement, and production workflows.
In this role, you will plan and schedule the procurement of materials to ensure their timely availability to meet production schedules. You will utilize ERP and MRP systems to manage and synchronize inventory levels with production demand, while collaborating with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics, to coordinate activities and address challenges in support of the production schedule. Additionally, you will analyze demand scheduling data to accurately forecast material requirements and identify and support projects aimed at enhancing systems and processes. You will monitor and analyze material usage, lead times, and supplier performance to uncover opportunities for improvement and cost reduction. Furthermore, you will coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely delivery of materials, resolving any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing, and prepare and present reports on material planning and inventory performance to management and other relevant stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
- Typically 2+ years of experience.
- Exposure to Purchasing Best Practices & Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in Excel & ERP/MRP systems for data analysis, reporting, and decision support.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:- Certification: APICS.
- Experience using SQL, Python, R, MS Project, PowerBI, Tableau.
- Experience with SAP.
Compensation:Pay Range:
$73,457.00 - $101,024.00
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
