Master SchedulerWe are searching for an experienced Master Scheduler at our
Salt Lake City, UT facility.
Job Summary: The Master Scheduler develops and manages daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand, production goals, and operational objectives. This role analyzes demand forecasts, inventory levels, workforce availability, and equipment capacity to create effective production plans and ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
Working closely with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations teams, the Master Production Scheduler monitors production performance and adjusts schedules to address material shortages, equipment downtime, and changing priorities. This position is responsible for scheduling the production of data center containment systems and steel aisle frame assemblies while driving workflow improvements, optimizing resources, reducing costs, and supporting on-time delivery performance.

- Creates master production schedule partnering with sales, supply chain and operations.
- Is accountable for and reports on key metrics, including on-time delivery, quality and production efficiency.
- Establishes priorities for specific customer orders.
- Revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.
- Manages SIOP process and resolves related issues.
- Optimizes and schedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate machine setups.
- Identify problems to improve efficiency
- Ensure company deadlines are met
- Distributes work orders to departments, denoting number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced.
- Communicates with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from methods or engineering departments.
- Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise production planning personnel of production delays.
- Maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production
- Expedites production of spare parts and establishes delivery dates for spare parts orders.

PRODUCT SAFETY AND QUALITY:- Responsible for supporting and complying with the company's Integrated Management System, which aligns with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) standards.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Scheduling, Manufacturing Planning, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing and proficiency with ERP systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including value-stream and process mapping; Lean Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or similar certifications preferred.
- Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze production and operational data, implement process improvements, and support informed decision-making.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present information to employees, customers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and respond effectively to material shortages, equipment downtime, and customer order fluctuations.
- Strong mathematical aptitude, including the ability to calculate rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs and production metrics.

- This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional walking and standing in a manufacturing environment may be required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Regular use of office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and scanners.
- May require occasional visits to the production floor, where safety precautions such as PPE may be necessary.
- The work environment is primarily an office setting, with some exposure to manufacturing areas that may include noise, machinery, and temperature fluctuations.
