Full Job Description
We are looking for a Master Scheduler. This position will be based in Grand Prairie, TX

The Master Scheduler will play a key role developing, maintaining, and optimizing schedules and plans for the manufacturing of engineered to order projects. This role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, identifying potential issues, and proposing solutions that ensure proper capacity is loaded to maximize output and achieve organizational goals and timelines. The Master Scheduler plays a critical role in collaborating with business leadership, application engineering teams, business development teams, sales, customers, project managers, contract administrators, and factory leadership.

You'll make an impact by:
Coordinate with application engineering teams (AE) and project management teams (PM) on project schedules to drive timely scheduling and optimization of engineering and factory output
  • Monitor capacity utilization and ensure that production lines are loaded to maximize output while aligning with business priorities
  • Monitor and report any delays regarding Engineering tasks scheduling to assure timely releases of drawing packages to customers and bills of materials to factory
  • Conduct product specific production and load meetings to assure alignment between business unit and factory
  • Provide regular reporting to the organization on loading status and Delivery Reliability performance
  • Coordinate with PM's and project engineers on change order management as it relates to project timelines and needs
  • Keep all SAP dates and related production schedules updated and communicate changes through proper channels.
  • Improve scheduling methodology and represent product in implementation of new scheduling and production management software
  • Develop and report appropriate KPIs including Delivery Reliability and Loading Status

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2+ years' experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, Project Manager or Master Scheduler in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel and/or Access) and strong math skills/background.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Low Voltage electrical distribution equipment
  • Prior experience with complex engineering, production, or service environments
  • SAP experience
  • Microsoft Project
  • PMP-Project Management Professional training/certification

The pay range for this position is $60,333 - $126,317 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
