Full Job Description
The Master Scheduler ensures the efficient purchase and flow of materials to internal and external customers to support on time delivery, reducing past dues, while maintaining inventory goals. This includes responsibility for purchasing, planning and releasing manufactured components and finished goods. The Master Scheduler monitors status of requirements and orders for exceptions and expedites/cancels as needed. You will closely partner with Operations Management and DMS Leader to develop and communicate strategies to reduce inventory levels, reduce lead times, and increase quality with the intent of continuous improvement to achieve sustainable plant goals.
This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Operations department and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is typically Monday thru Friday.
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
3 Serve as the focal point with Senior management for all communications associated with the master schedule, on time delivery, production capacity, planning, and sales forecasts based on the master production schedule.
3 Approves customer order changes that are within the cumulative lead time of MPS (Master Planning Schedule). Align firm and forecasted requirements with manufacturing capabilities, capacity, and suppliers Create an achievable Production Plan for designated products.
3 Manage and maintain an integrated master production schedule that satisfies customer demand while leveling to manufacturing. Utilize the production capacity, taking into consideration the sales forecast, historical sales, and new business opportunities when applicable.
3 Works with Manufacturing, Engineering and Procurement to develop lead times and standard lot sizes. Monitor actual results and revises them accordingly. Communication with Production, Sales, and Supply Teams: Respond to and keep each informed of potential problems and opportunities related to forecasted and non-forecasted orders and recommended alternatives. Inform stakeholders of Plant resource constraints and develop plans to achieve customer needs. Work with Sales to derive an effective plan to achieve budgeted, on-time shipments.
3 Develop inventory targets, MIN/MAX, and Kanban to meet critical demands Develop and utilize clear reporting that can be viewed by key member in the organization to understand the production schedule, delivery dates, and risk points. Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data
The essential requirements of the job include:
3 Bachelor degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Management OR a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) plus fiive (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility in Supply chain, i.e. production control, capacity planning, and scheduling related functions.
3 Solid analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capabilities.
3 Daily management, process development and organizational development experience preferred.
3 Experience in balancing the management of day-to-day results with systematic problem solving and root cause analysis.
3 Strong computer skills including MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). SAP/MRP experience required. Well versed in the use of MRP/ERP systems (MM/PP modules.

3 Must be able to work at the computer for prolonged periods of time.
3 Frequently sitting, twisting, and bending.
3 Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
3 Ability to travel - with approximately 10% domestic travel.
