About this role:The Master Scheduler owns the master production schedule for an assigned value stream, balancing demand, capacity and material availability to maximize customer service and stabilize the plant. Working with limited supervision on complex assignments, this role is the critical link between demand and execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Builds and maintains the master production schedule (MPS) for the assigned value stream.
- Balances demand against capacity and material availability, escalating constraints early.
- Converts the demand plan into an executable, level-loaded build schedule.
- Manages schedule changes, expedites and trade-offs to protect customer commitments.
- Owns MPS parameters, time fences and planning bills in the ERP.
- Partners with Planning, Production, Materials and Commercial in the SIOP/S&OP process.
- Analyzes adherence-to-plan, past-due and service KPIs and drives corrective actions.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of master scheduling, production planning or materials experience in manufacturing.
- 5+ years of MPS, MRP and ERP planning logic, time fences and planning bills.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM).
- Experience operating in high-growth or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Working knowledge of finite-capacity scheduling and Lean flow principles.
- Experience balancing demand, capacity, and material constraints in a production environment.
- Experience supporting a Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP / S&OP) process.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and scenario modeling.
Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.
Other CompensationThis position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
