At Wiers, our Master Mobile Diesel Technicians are empowered to work independently, tackling advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics directly at the customer's location. You'll take ownership of your service territory, build lasting partnerships with fleet customers, and provide the dependable service that earns long-term trust. Backed by a fully equipped mobile service truck and a knowledgeable support team, you'll have everything you need to succeed in the field.

Compensation
  • $38-$42 per hour
  • $5K Sign on BONUS
  • Performance-based bonuses throughout the year

What You'll Do

You'll be the trusted expert fleets rely on when they need service at their location.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel systems on-site-from routine maintenance to complex issues
  • Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Keep fleets compliant, reliable, and operational
  • Representing Wiers with professionalism, consistency, and skill


What You Bring
  • 5+ years of diesel technician experience
  • Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred, not required)
  • Ability to handle heavy components and work in field conditions
  • Customer-focused mindset with professional communication skills


Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE certifications
  • Manufacturer certifications (Cummins, Detroit, Navistar, etc.)
  • Mobile or field service experience
  • DOT inspection experience
  • Advanced diagnostic training
