Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a 100% employee-owned contractor company, is seeking a Master Acquisition Program Management Analyst to support a DoD Program Office at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC. This role combines acquisition program management, contracting support, cost analysis, documentation, and Naval exercise planning to help advance the development, evaluation, and testing of sensor systems.

 

The successful candidate will work closely with government, military, and technical stakeholders to plan and execute developmental and operational test events. This is a high-impact, fully onsite opportunity for an experienced acquisition professional with an active TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility, strong knowledge of DoD 5000 acquisition processes, and DAWIA Level II or higher in Program Management.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Master Acquisition Program Management Analyst with AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Fully support the Program Office with contracting, cost analysis, contract modification tracking, proposal assessments, and other urgent action items.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Naval exercises to support the collection of data required for the development, evaluation and testing of sensor systems.
  • Develop exercise plans that align with test objectives, operational requirements, and emerging program needs.
  • Utilize Naval operational planning tools to support scheduling, coordination, and execution of test events.
  • Manage and maintain Navel scheduling applications to ensure timely allocation of resources, platforms, and exercise windows.
  • Support the planning and execution of developmental and operational test activities.
  • Develop, track, and finalize documentation and coordinate actions between various Subject Matter Experts and maintain archives in SharePoint.
  • Monitor evolving test requirements and adjust exercise plans, schedules, and support activities accordingly.
  • Use database systems (i.e., SharePoint) to track existing contracting actions, manage contractual documentation, and provide detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across government, military, and technical teams to support successful test planning and execution.
  • Prepare planning documents, schedules, coordination packages, and status updates related to Navel exercise support.
  • Support meetings, working groups, and briefings at other facilities; design reviews/audits.
Qualifications Qualified candidates for this role must possess:
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance w/SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Management, or an Engineering Discipline) and 12-15 years of relevant experience, OR
    • Master's Degree and 10-12 years of relevant experience, OR
    • Doctoral Degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience within a DoD agency, preferably in program acquisition and/or contracting.
  • DAWIA Level II or higher in Program Management
  • Detailed understanding of DoD Directive 5000 policies and the Program Office's role within that process (deliverable timelines, required documents etc.).
NOTE: This position is currently 100% on site at the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC. Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $160,000.00/Yr. - USD $185,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
