We are seeking an accomplished individual with a Top Secret Clearance for the position of Maximo MAS Migration AWS COTS Migration Planner. In this role, you will lead a team of cloud migration specialists to meticulously plan the migration of an existing configured Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Maximo 7.6.x application environment from Red Hat virtual systems to the latest IBM MAS Maximo Application Suite. The primary focus will be on facilitating the seamless transition and optimizing the performance of the application within the AWS environment, specifically in the SC2S setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with a team of specialists to plan and execute the migration of the Maximo application environment.
- Contribute to the initial planning and documentation of infrastructure and security for the MAS AWS installation in SC2S.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and AWS architecture best practices.
- Utilize expertise in RedHat Linux Core, OpenShift, and Cloud Pack for Data to enhance migration processes.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders, project team members, and C-suite executives to provide updates and gather insights.
Required Skills and Experience:- Top Secret Clearance
- Proven experience in implementing Red Hat OpenShift systems in AWS SC2S environments.
- Strong background in AWS architecture and security.
- Proficiency in RedHat Linux Core, OpenShift, and Cloud Pack for Data.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Nice to Have Skills:- Experience in implementing MAS on AWS, including database migration and application testing.
- Knowledge of automated testing design and system administration automation.
- Expertise in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Experience in obtaining Authorization to Test (ATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) for government systems.
- IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Manage v8.0 Certification.
