The Marketing Coordinator, Social role will help identify inspiring community stories and foster meaningful community engagement, while helping with campaign coordination and marketing operations. A core purpose of this role is to balance multiple project priorities across various teams and time zones, while not being afraid to have fun along the way. Key stakeholders to this role will include customers and their families, community partners, and nonprofit organizations.
Responsibilities - Contribute both strategically and operationally to social media content/creative and community engagement responses to deliver best-in-class campaigns
- Assist with identifying compelling user testimonies, social content planning, scheduling, publishing, and calendar management across key platforms
- Coordinate creative assets, captions, community responses, approvals, and timelines for social campaigns
- Monitor social channels and help track engagement, sentiment, insights, trends, and community feedback, reporting out and escalating as needed
- Assist with influencer contracts, outreach coordination, content deliverables, and campaign tracking
- Keep day-to-day marketing initiatives running smoothly, proactively managing timelines, task tracking, meeting notes, and follow-up actions
- Confidence taking community calls and managing community inbox
- Help improve social media processes, workflows, and documentation
- Coordinate assets and communication between various stakeholders including customers, internal teams, agencies, and external partners
- Research new and emerging social features and platforms and stay ahead of trends in visual storytelling
- Ensure compliance with FTC guidelines, brand safety standards, and regulatory
- Anticipate the needs of the market by staying on top of industry research and understanding clinical trends, market access, and customer insights
- Drive brand awareness and increase positive brand sentiment through social media and community engagement
- Responsible for acquiring MLR approval for projects
- Opportunity to support special projects and activations
Education and Required Experience- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Business
- 1+ years of Social Media or Digital Marketing experience
- Strong project planning and management skills
- Experience managing brands on social media
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, AI, and presentation skills
Preferred- Experience using social media management software
- Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry experience in a regulated environment
Additional Information- This position is hybrid in either our Acton, MA or San Diego, CA offices.
- Travel is estimated at 10-15% but will flex depending on business needs; international travel is possible
- Will be required to spend time with the diabetes community either through Field rides or consumer conferences and events
- Flexibility to take morning and evening calls to align with international business hours as needed
