Position Summary

The Marketing Operations Lead is responsible for coordinating and executing the operational functions that support USA Compression's marketing initiatives. This role serves as the primary point of coordination for marketing projects, events, vendor relationships, asset management, purchasing activities, and cross-functional support. Working closely with leadership and internal stakeholders, the Marketing Operations Lead ensures marketing programs are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with company objectives.

KEY BUSINESS OBJECTIVES
  • Lead the operational execution of USA Compression's marketing initiatives, events, and brand programs.
  • Ensure marketing projects, vendor deliverables, and internal requests are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain efficient systems, processes, and organization across marketing assets, inventory, budgets, and resources.
  • Support customer engagement, employer branding, and commercial marketing initiatives that strengthen USA Compression's market presence.
  • Serve as a trusted operational resource for Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership teams.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead coordination and execution of trade shows, customer events, facility visits, recruiting events, and company-sponsored activities.
  • Manage marketing inventory, branded merchandise, promotional items, printed collateral, apparel, signage, and event materials.
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, packaging, and distribution of marketing materials across company locations and event sites.
  • Manage vendor relationships, purchase orders, order tracking, invoicing, and documentation to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance.
  • Maintain marketing asset libraries, project trackers, department calendars, equipment inventories, and operational workflows.
  • Support photography, video production, content capture, and field marketing activities at operational facilities and customer-facing events.
  • Coordinate logistics and preparation for executive presentations, customer meetings, recruiting initiatives, and internal company events.
  • Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, vendor reconciliation, and marketing performance reporting.
  • Partner with Commercial, Operations, Human Resources, Safety, and Leadership teams to support strategic marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Ensure brand standards, marketing processes, and departmental procedures are consistently maintained across all projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows, organization, vendor management, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Full-time hourly position. OR Full-time salary position.


SKILLS / CAPABILITIES AND EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in marketing operations, project management, event coordination, communications, or a related marketing role preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, required. Ability to create and edit marketing collateral, presentations, digital assets, event materials, and branded communications is essential.
  • Experience with marketing technology and creative platforms, social media management tools, email marketing software, content management systems, and other digital marketing applications preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, managing purchase orders, tracking budgets, and supporting marketing programs and events.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and proactively solve problems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and collaborating with Commercial, Operations, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership preferred.
  • Applicant must have the ability to legally work in the United States.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Primarily office-based environment with occasional travel to company facilities, customer locations, industry conferences, trade shows, and company events.
  • Frequent use of computers, mobile devices, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move marketing materials, displays, event equipment, or shipments up to 25 pounds.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work to support events, meetings, travel, or company initiatives.
  • Must comply with all applicable company safety requirements while visiting operational facilities and field locations.
