Marketing ManagerDepartment: Office Administration
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Houston/Corporate
Reporting To: Mollie Levar
DescriptionJoin the executive leadership of a fast-growing legal powerhouse. We are a $25M+ multi-location Texas law firm scaling to $30M+, and marketing is our growth engine. The Marketing Manager owns the performance of our paid search, SEO, social, and web channels and is accountable for the number that matters: signed cases at a target cost. You will manage a team and our agency partners, run HubSpot as the source of truth for lead-to-case attribution, and work daily with Intake to make sure every lead we pay for gets worked and converted.
Key ResponsibilitiesChannel performance and budget- Own the monthly marketing budget across PPC (Google Ads, LSA, Bing), paid social, SEO, and web; reallocate spend weekly based on cost per signed case by channel, practice area, and office.
- Manage agency and vendor partners: set targets, review performance, and hold them accountable to signed-case outcomes, not impressions or clicks.
- Build and execute the plan to enter new markets and practice areas, including market sizing, keyword/competitive analysis, budget, and launch timeline.
Attribution and reporting (HubSpot)- Maintain closed-loop attribution in HubSpot from first touch through signed case and collected revenue.
- Deliver a weekly dashboard to leadership: spend, leads, qualified leads, consults booked, consults held, signed cases, cost per lead, cost per signed case, and revenue per case by source.
- Enforce data hygiene standards (lead source, UTM, practice area, office) so every dollar is attributable.
Intake partnership and conversion- Partner with the Intake Manager on speed-to-lead, lead routing, and follow-up sequences; flag lead quality issues by source within 48 hours.
- Build and test HubSpot email/SMS nurture workflows for unconverted leads and no-show consults.
- Improve web and landing page conversion rates through A/B testing of offers, forms, call tracking, and page copy.
Content, SEO, and reputation- Own the SEO roadmap: local SEO and Google Business Profiles for every office, practice-area content, and technical health.
- Run the review generation program with Intake and Client Services.
- Ensure all advertising complies with Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct Part VII and State Bar of Texas Advertising Review Committee filing requirements.
Team leadership- Hire, train, and manage Marketing Coordinators/Associates with clear weekly KPIs and documented SOPs.
- Build repeatable processes (campaign launch checklist, monthly budget review, reporting cadence) that scale without depending on any one person.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in performance/digital marketing, with 2+ years managing people or agency relationships.
- Direct ownership of a paid media budget of $50K+/month, with measurable results tied to revenue.
- Hands-on proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and a CRM (HubSpot strongly preferred).
- Working knowledge of SEO/SEM, local search, email/SMS marketing, call tracking, and A/B testing.
- Strong copywriting for web, ads, and email.
- Comfortable building and presenting reports in Excel/Sheets or a BI tool.
Preferred- Legal, healthcare, home services, or other high-volume lead-gen experience.
- Multi-location marketing experience.
- HubSpot Marketing Hub certification; Google Ads certification.
- Familiarity with Texas attorney advertising rules.
