MARKETING MANAGER The Marketing Manager leads internal marketing operations for Mears Group, with primary responsibility for process management, brand execution, merchandising, and event marketing support. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications and based in Englewood, CO, this role formalizes systems, balances workload capacity, and standardizes execution so the Director can focus on enterprise-level strategy and business development. This is a process-management role: all marketing personnel remain direct reports to the Director, and the Marketing Manager coordinates daily workflow, assigns priorities, and oversees execution standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:- Own the intake, prioritization, scheduling, and tracking of internal marketing requests; maintain project management systems and production calendars.
- Allocate assignments based on capacity, deadlines, and strategic importance; enforce timelines, approval workflows, and quality checkpoints.
- Lead coordination and execution of internal campaigns supporting company culture, safety initiatives, workforce development, and leadership events.
- Ensure brand consistency across presentations, internal communications, apparel, promotional items, and event materials.
- Manage merchandise strategy and execution - sourcing, vendor coordination, proofing, production timelines, and inventory oversight.
- Oversee marketing deliverables for internal meetings, leadership conferences, training programs, and recognition events.
- Coordinate daily workflow across marketing personnel and reinforce accountability and production standards, while formal reporting lines remain with the Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS: - 5-7 years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, or project/production management.
- Demonstrated experience managing workflow across multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
- Experience with project management or workflow tools (Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
- Strong vendor management skills, including sourcing, proofing, and production coordination.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to enforce process without direct people-management authority.
- Preferred: experience in AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) or energy/infrastructure industries.
- Preferred: experience managing merchandising or promotional programs, and event marketing or corporate event production experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred; pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Primarily works in a professional office environment using a computer and standard office equipment.
- Sit or stand for extended periods while managing multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasionally lift and carry event or merchandise materials up to 25 lbs.
- Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and virtually with cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership.
- Attend and help staff internal meetings, leadership conferences, and company events, at times outside standard business hours.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on proofing, production, and delivery timelines.
- Travel occasionally (approximately 10-15%) to company events, conferences, and field locations.
- Good vision (corrected or uncorrected) for extended computer and detail work.
