FAT Brands Fast Casual Division Marketing Manager

WHO WE ARE:
FAT Brands is a leading global franchising company that strategically acquires, markets, and develops quick serve, fast casual and casual dining restaurant concepts around the world. The fast casual division of FAT Brands represents four concepts: Fatburger, Johnny Rockets, Elevation Burger, and Hot Dog on a Stick.

OVERVIEW:
As a Marketing Manager within the Fast Casual Division at FAT Brands, you'll play an integral role within the Fast Casual Marketing Team supporting key brand level initiatives, with a critical focus on branding, promotion development, partnership management and reporting support.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Sr. Director of Marketing in the planning and execution of key tactics that ladder up into FAT Brands strategic pillars to help increase profitable SSS results for the division, and the respective brands.
  • Manage Fast Casual Division Marketing Coordinator, providing mentorship and guidance on most effective local store marketing programs, franchisee management, and NSO planning.
  • Collaborate as a team to develop annual fast casual division marketing and promotional calendars.
  • Ownership of execution of key areas of marketing/promotional calendar implementation. This includes but is not limited to Asana project management timelines and tracking, developing promotional rollout guides, LTO product testing, and results reporting.
  • Lead weekly calls with the Social Media team to present marketing programs, brand updates, enforce brand voice and standards across channels. Collaborate with Social Media team to enhance channel's ability to drive sales and transactions while balancing social team goals of channel growth and engagement.
  • Responsible for collecting data and maintaining sales reporting to provide key insights into various marketing campaigns to optimize for future division strategies and objectives.
  • Key manager all Fast Casual brands Marketing Support Fund (MSF) budgets, follow up on P&L discrepancies, process invoices and report monthly to Sr. Director of Marketing/CMO. Delegate, monitor and mentor the Marketing Coordinator to manage Hot Dog on a Stick and Elevation Burger budgets on a day-to-day basis.
  • Proactively support marketing partnerships with creative approvals, promotional development, franchisee communications and sales reporting for completed promotions.

  • Collaborate with catering, operations, training and franchisees to coordinate brand events, celebrations, and partnership activations.
  • Develop and maintain process for testing POS marketing updates, coupon/discount codes and reporting focusing on ROI, sales, redemptions and ways to improve efficiency with key IT stakeholders.


Responsibilities may fluctuate and increase based on the needs of the division and anticipated growth of new technologies, loyalty, and brand programs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, ETC.)
  • At least 3-5 years of applicable marketing experience, preferably in a nationally branded, franchised restaurant environment or agency experience managing one or more restaurant brands.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Advanced written communication skills required.
  • Be able to effectively communicate in a one-on-one setting and a team setting.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using Dropbox, Facebook, Google My Business, OLO. Third-Party Delivery Platforms, and Asana preferred.
  • Dependable transportation required.
  • This a full time, in- office position at our corporate office (9720 Wilshire Blvd., Ste 500, Beverly Hills, CA 90212).
  • Some travel may be required.
