Marketing Manager

Reports to: Chief Development Officer
Status: Exempt
Hybrid Schedule in Charleston, SC

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to oversee the execution of the firm's marketing initiatives and ensure consistent delivery of our brand messaging. This role will serve as the day-to-day driver of campaigns, content, and communications, working closely with the Leadership Team and fractional CMO for strategic direction. The Marketing Manager will manage the marketing associate and external vendors, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with firm objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Management: Execute digital marketing campaigns (email, website, social media, digital ads) following content calendars and strategic priorities set by leadership.
  • Email Marketing: Manage email platforms, schedule campaigns, coordinate content creation, and oversee distribution.
  • Website Management: Maintain and update website content; support structural improvements to scale advisor-specific and corporate content.
  • Corporate Communications: Coordinate firmwide communications, including internal newsletters and corporate announcements.
  • Content Execution: Oversee creation and delivery of marketing materials such as newsletters, advisor event materials, social posts, and client communications-ensuring compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
  • Event Support: Assist in planning, promoting, and executing advisor and client events, webinars, and sponsorships.
  • Vendor Oversight: Manage relationships with external marketing vendors and agencies, ensuring alignment with directives from leadership and effective execution.
  • Social Media Management: Execute posting schedules, monitor engagement, and coordinate responses to inbound comments, questions, or leads.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track marketing KPIs, campaign ROI, and engagement metrics, delivering regular reports to leadership.
  • Team Collaboration: Manage the Marketing Associate, providing direction on daily tasks and priorities while fostering a collaborative environment.

Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of marketing experience, ideally in financial services or a regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms, CMS, and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar); knowledge of Account Engagement a plus.
