We're looking for a
Marketing & Events Lead to own our brand voice, grow inbound interest, and build community around a highly technical product. This is a pivotal, early-stage role - you'll be the primary driver of how we tell our story to frontier AI labs, enterprises, RL researchers, and the broader developer ecosystem.
This is a
fully on-site role based in San Francisco, CA.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support.What You'll Do- Own and execute the overall marketing strategy and content calendar from day one.
- Lead our social media presence on Twitter/X and LinkedIn to grow audience, engagement, and inbound pipeline.
- Ghostwrite high-quality content for founders - communicating product vision, platform milestones, and technical insights.
- Translate complex RL and AI concepts into clear, compelling narratives for a technical audience.
- Develop and continuously refine brand voice, positioning, and storytelling across all channels.
- Experiment with content formats and double down on what drives measurable results.
- Identify high-leverage event opportunities - conferences, hackathons, and technical community gatherings - where our audience already is.
- Plan and run memorable, high-quality events that reinforce brand and generate pipeline.
- Support the founding team with event presence, including preparation for talks and panels.
What We're Looking ForRequired:- Genuine excitement about frontier AI models and a passion for storytelling in a deeply technical space.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, content, or community roles at startups.
- A strong track record of growing social accounts or company brand presence.
- A writing portfolio that shows you can understand technical products and explain them simply and accurately.
- Experience planning and running events, meetups, or community programs end-to-end.
- Ability to work independently and move fast in an early-stage environment.
- Proficiency with core marketing tools: CRM, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and events concurrently.
Nice to Have:- Background marketing AI/ML products, developer tools, or technical platforms.
- An existing network within the RL research, RL engineering, or broader startup communities.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and growth strategies for social and content channels.
- A clear, articulated point of view on how great technical companies build brand and tell stories.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 USD annually, depending on experience.
