Summary

The Director of Marketing develops and executes an integrated enterprise marketing strategy that builds the Event Network brand and connects guests, partners, team members, and communities to the experiences Event Network delivers.

This leader oversees marketing across business-to-business and business-to-consumer audiences, including brand strategy, demand generation, consumer marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, digital marketing, communications, and customer acquisition. The role balances long-term brand building with measurable performance across a portfolio that may include museums, zoos, aquariums, cultural institutions, attractions, hospitality destinations, cafés, food service operations, and destination retail

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute enterprise B2B and B2C marketing strategies that support revenue growth across Event Network platforms, including Attractions, Hospitality, and Destinations.
  • Lead brand positioning, messaging, stewardship, and storytelling across channels, audiences, and portfolio experiences.
  • Create integrated campaigns that support customer acquisition, traffic, visitation, retail conversion, guest engagement, and guest spend.
  • Lead demand generation strategies that support business development, partner acquisition, new-location launches, and consumer growth.
  • Partner with Creative, Operations, Business Development, and Product teams to bring new experiences, seasonal events, and concepts to market.
  • Develop and lead sponsorship strategy, including identifying aligned brands, securing opportunities, and creating integrated activations and co-marketing programs.
  • Lead digital marketing across paid media, social media, CRM, content, public relations, and communications, consistent with applicable privacy and marketing requirements.
  • Manage relationships with licensed brand and intellectual-property partners, maintaining brand standards and supporting commercial performance.
  • Use consumer and guest insights, analytics, attribution, and marketing ROI to evaluate campaigns and improve performance.
  • Identify opportunities to increase guest engagement, partner success, sales performance, and measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Establish priorities, measures, and reporting that help stakeholders understand marketing effectiveness and business impact.

Required Qualifications
  • Progressively responsible experience leading integrated marketing across multiple audiences, including institutional or industry B2B and direct-to-consumer B2C audiences.
  • Demonstrated success balancing brand development with performance marketing, demand generation, and measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Experience leading integrated brand, digital, communications, customer acquisition, partnership, or sponsorship strategies.
  • Strong storytelling, positioning, and brand stewardship skills, with the ability to communicate differentiated value proposition across diverse channels and audiences.
  • Ability to use consumer insights, guest insights, analytics, attribution, and marketing ROI to inform decisions and improve performance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Creative, Operations, Business Development, Product, partners, and licensed brand or intellectual-property stakeholders.
  • Experience marketing complex portfolios or experiences in experiential retail, hospitality, attractions, destinations, cafés, food service, entertainment, leisure, or a related environment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working across both enterprise and consumer brand systems.
  • Experience developing sponsorship programs or partner-funded marketing activations.
  • Experience supporting multi-location launches, seasonal programming, or destination-based experiences.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, budgets, or cross-functional marketing team.
