Position Summary:

The Director of Marketing, Americas leads the development and execution of regional marketing strategies that drive business growth, brand leadership, customer engagement, and revenue generation across the United States, Mexico, and Chile. This role supports SKIDATA's full portfolio of solutions, including Parking & Mobility, Mountain Destinations, and Sports & Entertainment, ensuring strong market positioning and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

As the senior marketing leader for the Americas, the Director serves as a strategic business partner to Sales, Business Development, Product Management, Operations, and Global Marketing teams. The role is responsible for translating market insights into actionable growth strategies, overseeing integrated marketing initiatives, and ensuring marketing investments deliver measurable business results while maintaining operational

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Leadership
  • Develop and execute the Americas marketing strategy aligned with regional business objectives, growth initiatives, and corporate strategic priorities.
  • Lead market positioning and go-to-market strategies across all three business segments; Parking & Mobility, Mountain Destinations, and Sports & Entertainment
  • Identify growth opportunities, emerging market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats within the Americas region.
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop marketing plans that support revenue growth, market share expansion, customer retention, and brand differentiation.
  • Establish annual marketing objectives, budgets, performance metrics, and strategic roadmaps for the region.


Business Growth & Demand Generation
  • Drive marketing programs that contribute directly to lead generation, sales pipeline development, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales leadership and Business Development teams to create integrated campaigns that accelerate market penetration and business performance.
  • Oversee account-based marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, event marketing, partner marketing, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Develop campaigns designed to strengthen existing customer relationships, support upselling opportunities, and improve customer retention.
  • Measure marketing effectiveness through ROI analysis, pipeline contribution, lead conversion, and commercial performance metrics.


Regional Market Leadership
  • Lead marketing efforts across the United States, Mexico, and Chile, ensuring strategies reflect local market dynamics while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Advise business leaders on regional market conditions, customer preferences, regulatory considerations, and competitive developments.
  • Develop localized marketing initiatives and messaging that align with both regional opportunities and global brand standards.
  • Support regional expansion initiatives and strategic market development efforts.


Brand, Communications & Thought Leadership
  • Serve as the primary steward of the SKIDATA brand across the Americas.
  • Develop initiatives that strengthen brand reputation, awareness, and market credibility across target industries.
  • Lead strategic communications, public relations, media engagement, and thought leadership programs.
  • Partner with external agencies, industry organizations, and media outlets to enhance market visibility and corporate reputation.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging, brand standards, and customer experience across all touchpoints.


Executive & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership regarding market opportunities, customer trends, and marketing investments.
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams to ensure alignment between regional execution and global priorities.
  • Build strong partnerships across Sales, Product Management, Operations, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership.
  • Influence stakeholders across a complex matrix organization and drive alignment around strategic initiatives.
  • Lead vendor, agency, and partner relationships to maximize marketing effectiveness and efficiency.


Marketing Operations & Execution Oversight
  • Provide leadership and oversight for regional marketing programs, campaigns, events, digital initiatives, and content development.
  • Oversee major industry trade shows, customer events, executive engagements, and promotional activities throughout the Americas.
  • Ensure development of high-quality sales enablement tools, thought leadership content, presentations, case studies, and marketing collateral.
  • Guide social media, digital marketing, website content, and campaign execution strategies in alignment with regional objectives.
  • Establish processes, reporting frameworks, and best practices to improve overall marketing performance and scalability.


Analytics & Performance Management
  • Develop and monitor marketing KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting metrics.
  • Utilize market analytics and customer insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate marketing program effectiveness and continuously optimize resource allocation and investment decisions.
  • Present performance results and strategic recommendations to executive leadership on a regular basis.

  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, demand generation, customer lifecycle marketing, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Proven ability to align marketing initiatives with sales objectives and revenue outcomes.
  • Experience managing marketing investments, budgets, agencies, and external partners.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience operating successfully within a matrixed global organization.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
  • Experience within technology, mobility, transportation, parking, destination management, SaaS, infrastructure, or related industries preferred.
  • Experience supporting both public and private sector customers is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.


Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent professional experience

Travel:

Approximately 25-40% travel throughout the United States, Mexico, Chile, and other Americas markets as business needs require.
