Job Title: Director - Finance & Accounting (North America & LATAM)

Summary:
The Director of Finance and Accounting is a pivotal leadership role at SKIDATA, Inc., responsible for overseeing financial
planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting operations in collaboration with Global Accounting Director, and compliance
functions for North America as well as Latin America (Chile, and Mexico) . This position plays a critical role in ensuring
financial accuracy, effective reporting, and robust forecasting while providing strategic financial guidance to support
business growth and profitability. The Director will lead a team of over 10 finance and accounting professionals, fostering a
culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Director is expected to be a true business
partner for the SVP of Americas
Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
• Develop and execute the financial strategy to align with SKIDATA America's business objectives
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data and metrics
• Drive strategic initiatives that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency
FP&A Leadership Responsibilities:
• Lead a team to run the forecasting and budgeting processes, utilizing KPIs and advanced modeling techniques to
accurately project revenue and profitability
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis to monitor performance against profitability goals and recommend corrective
actions
• Support the finance team in partnering with sales and regional teams in pipeline development analysis, including
project pipeline and service contract reviews
• Collaborate on pricing strategies with sales and regional teams, with an emphasis on SaaS development and
competitive positioning
• Implement and deploy key analytical reports that provide real-time insights into financial performance
• Support and guide the team to improve WC metrics and the company's cash position
Accounting Operations:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash
management, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
• Strengthen internal controls and processes to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with regulatory
requirements and company policies
Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements

• Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and controls
• Oversee audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency
Team Leadership and Development:
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance and accounting team, promoting professional
development and a culture of continuous learning
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability among team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development through coaching and training
Skills/Experience Required:
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in progressive finance, FP&A, accounting, with a track record of
leadership and full P&L and BS management
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information
clearly
• Strong analytical skills, excellent business acumen, and meticulous attention to detail
• Proven ability to build strong relationships, with effective negotiation and influencing skills across diverse cultures
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP and CRM systems, as well as Hyperion financial
management
• Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS); experience in software/security technology industry
preferred
• Public accounting experience a plus
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus
• Valid Driver's License, in state of residence
Languages and Travel:
• Fluent in English, additional languages (e.g., Spanish/Italian/German) preferred
• Domestic and international travel of up to 40% may be required
