Glaukos Marketing Director - Cornea / Glaucoma (Aliso Viejo, CA)

Two openings. One mandate: develop marketing strategies for scalable execution of non-brand initiatives that expand HCP and patient access to leading interventional technologies, driving market growth across glaucoma and cornea segments. These roles sit at the intersection of marketing, commercial strategy, and field execution, building the insights, systems, and playbooks with cross-functional partners that power performance.

What You'll Do
  • Build and lead non-brand strategic initiatives for repeatable, field-ready performance and market growth
  • Deliver data-driven insights and KPIs to guide decision-making and execution
  • Lead market and competitive intelligence insights, developing strategies to strengthen market position
  • Develop and scale marketing enablement programs, analytics, and operating systems that drive adoption
  • Partner across Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial to align priorities and accelerate execution
  • Influence across a highly matrixed organization to drive results


Role Focus Areas

Cornea
  • Partner with Site of Care field leadership to enable and support execution across health systems, 3rd party in-office solutions, and alternative settings
  • Co-lead Interventional Keratoconus (iKC) market strategy development, insights, positioning, and messaging
  • Build scalable systems that expand access and support care-site growth
  • Responsible for cornea competitive & market intelligence

Glaucoma
  • Develop non-brand strategy and initiatives across marketing, practice integration, and key account platforms
  • Co-lead Interventional Glaucoma (IG) market strategy development, insights, positioning, and messaging.
  • Partner with GPi field leadership to enable and support execution through analytics, practice playbooks, and adoption systems
  • Partner with key account leadership team to support execution and scalable growth models
  • Responsible for glaucoma competitive & market intelligence


What You Bring
  • 15+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical marketing, ophthalmology or surgical preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Solid industry working knowledge. Ability to develop and build relationships with all constituents quickly, both internally and externally, to drive results
  • Cross functional knowledge and strong interpersonal skills within a team environment to influence others toward business results.
  • Experience partnering with field sales organizations
  • Agency management experience required
