Role SummaryAs Design Technologist on Imprint's Marketing Design team, you will sit at the intersection of design and front end development, building and maintaining the creative systems behind a growing portfolio of partner brands across email, web, in app, paid, and print. This is the technical backbone role on the team. You will own our front end infrastructure, serve as the team's dedicated martech resource, and be the person others lean on when something needs to be built right.
This is not a pure engineering role. You will not write backend code or work in product infrastructure. You will live at the intersection of design systems and front end development, building what our designers design, maintaining the systems that keep our partner programs running, and finding smarter ways to use AI and automation to make the team faster.
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 DaysBy the end of the first 90 days, you should be fully oriented in how Marketing Design supports partner launches, campaign work, web experiences, and lifecycle production, and operating as the team's primary technical owner for marketing landing pages, tracking, and UTMs. You should own or be actively transitioning into ownership of:
- Webflow builds and QA
- Landing pages and microsites
- Campaign tracking and link management
- Front end implementation of designed assets
- Martech tooling support across Branch.io, Bitly, GTM, and GA
- Documentation for repeatable technical workflows

- Handle all site edits, offer swaps, bug fixes, tags and scripts, compliance edits, and performance updates independently
- Develop repeatable components and templates to systematize the web development process
- Own front end specs and asset production for all web builds
Campaign Tracking and Attribution Infrastructure
- Own the technical setup and QA of campaign tracking across all channels, including UTM structure, link management, and attribution logic
- Build and maintain tracking templates and audit attribution across partner campaigns
- Serve as the technical bridge between marketing and analytics or data tooling
Martech and AI Workflows
- Serve as the team's dedicated martech resource, evaluating, implementing, and maintaining the marketing technology that supports our creative and production operations
- Act as a technical point of contact during partner onboarding as martech decisions are being made
- Improve and maintain AI assisted production workflows alongside Marketing Design leadership
- Serve as the execution layer that turns AI workflow strategy into working systems
Technical Mentorship
- Be the go to resource when designers and producers hit technical walls
- Raise the technical floor of the team through pairing, documentation, and informal coaching
- Help define standards for how the team builds, hands off, and QAs technical work
QualificationsRequired
- A design background, having worked on or closely with design teams, with an understanding of hierarchy, space, and shipped visual work
- Strong HTML and CSS, with the ability to build a responsive email or landing page and debug it independently

- Webflow proficiency, or front end fundamentals strong enough to get there fast, with real websites built rather than just prototypes
