Job Summary

The Marketing Communications Manager is a versatile generalist marketer capable of moving seamlessly between strategy and hands-on execution toward executive and professional student recruitment goals. The position will collaborate with the programs, school, and university in social media and digital marketing efforts across multiple platforms.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree; five years experience in marketing communications and advertising; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce Administration Certification; Marketing Cloud, Google AdWords, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, AP Style editing, WordPress, and SEO/AIP experience

Preferred Education: MS in Communications, Arts, Business Administration, MIS or Marketing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Digital Marketing
  • Develop program specific online campaigns and design customized email drip campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Define, consult, and/or execute paid digital campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube channels.
  • Manage SEO, website content updates, conversion-rate optimization, and CRM integration.
  • Set up and maintain dashboards and deliver monthly digital performance insights.
  • Build and maintain custom admission and enrollment reports and/or dashboards to monitor data quality and integrity.
  • Create mockup designs of web and landing pages and optimize for conversions.
  • Collaborate with JSOM and UTD personnel in CRM, marketing, external relations, and web services.

Project & Administrative Management
  • Research and identify opportunities, trends and best practices in higher education marketing and recruitment to share with Executive Education team.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, applications, and integrations.
  • Supervise and mentor student worker in marketing tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Remote Work Notice:
After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval
