Full Job Description
Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing & Communications Manager to support a key client account in the Seattle, Washington region. This on-site role will serve as the primary communications, marketing, and design resource for the account, working closely with JLL's facilities and projects operations teams to deliver exceptional visual and communication experiences. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on design capabilities, creating complex branding materials including signage, wayfinding systems, graphics, and customer-facing collateral that enhance the client's physical spaces and support operational excellence. This position requires regular presence at client sites with approximately 20% travel to various properties throughout the Washington state region area.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Brand Execution
  • Design and produce signage programs including building identification, wayfinding, directional signage, floor directories, and graphics
  • Create customer-facing materials including tenant welcome kits, building amenity guides, floor maps, lobby displays, and property marketing collateral
  • Develop branded materials that support facilities operations including safety signage, operational notices, event graphics, and internal communications
  • Design visual assets for projects operations including construction notifications, move announcements, renovation updates, and occupancy communications
  • Maintain brand consistency across all client touchpoints while adhering to established brand guidelines and visual identity standards
  • Produce print-ready files with accurate specifications for fabrication and installation
  • Conduct site visits across the portfolio to assess signage needs, verify installations, and gather content

Visual Content Creation
  • Produce high-quality graphic design work including infographics, presentations, digital displays, posters, flyers, and promotional materials
  • Create templates and standardized formats that facilities and operations teams can utilize for recurring needs
  • Design digital assets for building communication channels including email headers, social graphics, and digital signage content
  • Develop photography and visual content briefs to capture spaces, amenities, and events
  • Photograph properties and events as needed to maintain current visual asset library

Vendor & Production Management
  • Coordinate with signage fabricators, print vendors, and installation contractors to execute design projects
  • Provide technical specifications and production guidance to ensure quality output
  • Manage vendor relationships, obtain quotes, track orders, and ensure timely delivery
  • Conduct quality checks on printed and fabricated materials before and after installation
  • Visit sites to oversee installations and verify proper placement and execution

Operational Communications Support
  • Partner with facilities management teams to communicate building updates, service schedules, amenity information, and tenant notifications
  • Support projects operations by creating clear, branded communications for construction activities, move coordination, and space changes
  • Develop communication materials that keep building occupants informed and engaged
  • Design emergency preparedness materials and operational signage as needed
  • Maintain on-site presence to quickly respond to urgent communication needs

Strategic Communications & Marketing
  • Develop and implement communications and marketing strategies that support account operations and enhance client satisfaction
  • Create campaign calendars and communication plans aligned with facilities operations and client objectives
  • Produce written content including newsletters, email campaigns, announcements, and property updates
  • Manage content calendars ensuring timely, relevant communications across multiple properties

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Serve as the on-site communications and design resource for facilities managers, project managers, and operations teams
  • Respond to communication requests from account team members with quick turnarounds and creative solutions
  • Build strong working relationships with client contacts and JLL service delivery teams through regular in-person interaction
  • Attend operational meetings to understand upcoming needs and proactively develop communication plans
  • Travel to various client properties throughout the region to support operations and maintain consistent brand presence

Digital Channel Management
  • Manage building-specific digital platforms including SharePoint websites, tenant portals, digital displays, or social media channels
  • Design and schedule content for digital displays in lobbies and common areas
  • Monitor engagement and optimize digital communications strategies


Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Visual Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in communications and marketing with substantial hands-on design responsibility
  • Strong graphic design portfolio demonstrating expertise in design capabilities and customer-facing branded materials
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) with ability to produce print-ready files and technical specifications
  • Understanding of print production processes, materials, fabrication methods, and signage systems
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail
  • Proven project management experience and organizational skills; Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to work effectively with facilities and operations teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with email platforms, content management systems, and digital tools
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly to client sites throughout the Seattle, Washington region
  • Comfort working on-site in operational environments including active construction areas and multi-building campuses

Preferred:
  • Experience in real estate, corporate services, facilities management, or related industries
  • Familiarity with building operations and facility management environments
  • Video editing skills and experience with motion graphics
  • Photography skills or art direction experience
  • Experience supporting operational teams with communication needs
  • Familiarity with federal or government contracting environments

Estimated compensation for this position:

110,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
