What You'll Do ...

The Marketing Communications Manager, Client Services serves as a trusted partner to internal clients, coordinating cross-functional marketing and communications projects from intake through delivery. This individual contributor translates business goals into clear project requirements, keeps stakeholders aligned on scope, timing, budget, and outcomes, and helps deliver high-quality work that is on strategy, on time, and on budget.

*Due to the requirements of this position, candidates must live within 30 commuting miles or less of the SourceAmerica's National Office, Vienna, VA; and work 2-3 days per week in the office.

How You Will Spend Your Day ...
  • Partner with departments and business stakeholders to plan and execute internal and external marketing communications activities.
  • Manage project intake, timelines, deliverables, reviews, approvals, budgets, risks, and status communications across multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Translate client goals into actionable creative briefs, project requirements, and direction for writers, designers, digital specialists, video partners, and vendors.
  • Coordinate the development and production of print, digital, web, video, promotional, event, and sales-support materials.
  • Ask effective questions, identify client needs, anticipate challenges, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Support integrated campaigns by collaborating with marketing communications and sales partners to establish objectives and measure results.
  • Use project management, workflow, marketing automation, CRM, and digital asset tools to organize work and maintain accurate project records.
  • Communicate changes in scope, schedule, or budget and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Select and manage vendors in accordance with procurement policies and track project expenses against approved budgets.
  • Build productive relationships across a national organization and contribute to continuous improvement of client service and workflow.

Salary Range

The salary for this position falls in a range between $85,000 - $100,000 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, and/or business administration.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in marketing communications, account or client services, project coordination, campaign support, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, proofreading, organizational, and relationship-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment within established processes, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Background in an advertising agency, in-house creative team, nonprofit marketing, or a client-service environment.
  • Experience supporting sales, marketing automation, CRM, trade shows, or event marketing.
  • Working knowledge of branding, collateral development, advertising, graphic design and video production processes, print production, and digital content.
  • Experience with project management systems, workflow tools, enterprise resource planning platforms, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Proactive, adaptable approach with strong time-management, problem-solving, and client-service skills.
