Job Summary:

As a Marketing Communications Consultant, you will be a consultant and divisional expert in Marketing Communications for support in region(s) with Electric Power having a focus on the promotion of diesel and gas generator sets and associated products and services.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute a regional marketing communications plan utilizing digital and non-digital channels to create awareness and generate leads.

  • Develop launch strategy and design campaigns for new product introductions to the market. Key channels will include cat.com, SEM/SEO, social media, marketing automation communications, advertising media, events, and PR.

  • Develop and execute a marketing communications plan to generate awareness and leads for current products and solutions and associated services. Design and execute campaigns to reach and engage target audience.

  • Develop market knowledge and expertise in diesel and gas segments for assigned regions as above including product and applications, life cycle cost, knowledge of dealers’ and customers’ applications, industry and marketplace needs.

  • Overall, you can expect to:

    • Own and lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish

    • Manage and control assigned budgets

    • Define innovative marketing communication strategies for product and services promotion via physical & virtual customer experience including tradeshows.

    • Work in partnership with internal and external creative agencies to develop creative briefs e.g., for advertising including print, digital, and video assets.

    • Monitor, analyze and action to improve campaign results.

    • Analyze industry trends and the competitive environment.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business or Marketing program or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing or a Communications-related role.

  • Power business background

  • Strong Business Acumen to measure marketing return on investment (ROI).

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • This position is located in Irving, TX.

  • Travel up to 25% is required.

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
