The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted partner to the Director of Business Development, helping to divide and conquer the many moving pieces of facility marketing and business development.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital case managers, social workers, discharge planners, physicians, assisted living communities, and other referral partners.
• Conduct hospital visits, bedside visits, referral follow-up, and other activities designed to strengthen relationships and increase referral conversion.
• Review and assist with responding to referrals as appropriate, while communicating effectively with the clinical and admissions teams.
• Identify and develop new referral and community partnership opportunities.
• Represent the facility at vendor fairs, networking events, community events, and other outreach opportunities.
• Support facility marketing initiatives including social media, newsletters, promotional materials, events, and other creative projects.
• Assist with tours, admissions, and other facility needs when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to execute marketing strategies and initiatives designed to achieve and sustain 95%+ occupancy.
• Take ownership of assigned projects while remaining flexible and willing to assist with delegated priorities.
• Bring forward new ideas, identify opportunities, and proactively look for ways to improve the facility's visibility, relationships, and overall success.
• Serve as a positive and enthusiastic representative of Whitehall Borough Post Acute both inside and outside of the facility.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Creative and comfortable generating new ideas
• Highly personable and relationship-oriented
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and willing to wear many hats
• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Comfortable taking direction and following through on delegated tasks
• Positive, energetic, and someone who naturally brightens the room
• Professional and confident when interacting with healthcare professionals, residents, families, staff, and community partners

Clinical experience is not required. However, the successful candidate must be comfortable learning and reviewing basic clinical information contained within referrals and communicating appropriately with the clinical and admissions teams.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is measured not only by referral and census growth, but by the relationships and energy you bring to the organization.

Our goal is to reach and sustain 95% or greater occupancy while continuing to strengthen our referral partnerships and community presence.

Just as importantly, we want someone who contributes to a positive, collaborative environment-someone who supports their team, brings enthusiasm to the building, celebrates successes, and looks for solutions rather than waiting for someone else to solve the problem.
