Description

Reporting to the SYS Consumer Marketing Team Lead, the Marketing Budget Controller will play a key role in supporting all budget needs for the laptop, desktop, phone and all-in-one PC portfolios. He/she will be tasked with ensuring that the Marketing team has access to budget and partner funding in a timely manner, as well as managing partner funding compliance and the partner funding claiming process. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring that all team members understand the budgeting and partner funding program requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial analysis and support of US Marketing Team.
  • Analyze and optimize Marketing investment by segment.
  • Manage the US Marketing budget process, ensuring complete accuracy of budget allocations, maximizing partner funding utilization, controlling overall spending and finalizing allocations by deadlines.
  • Lead communication and vendor funding management (application & claims) with key partner funding programs (ex. Microsoft Jumpstart, Intel CCF, NVIDIA MDF, etc.) and train the extended Marketing team on program requirements, processes, and deadlines.
  • The individual will be responsible for annual plan, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports that compare actual results to forecasts.
  • Support team with dispute reconciliation with accounting and finance within US and HQ teams.

$70,304-$120,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
