DescriptionThe Red Gate Group is seeking a Marketing/Communications Lead to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) CIO, IT Integration Division (CIO-1). This position serves as the senior strategic communications and marketing expert responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies, multimedia campaigns, and stakeholder engagement efforts across the CIO enterprise. The Marketing/Communications Lead will drive transparency, partner engagement, and alignment with the CIO's mission, vision, and strategic priorities through high-quality written, visual, and multimedia products delivered across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive suite of communication products including official correspondence, speech writing, talking points, ghost notes, and CIO marketing materials, while creating robust communications plans with defined milestones and appropriate messaging channels to reach internal and external stakeholders
- Provide start-to-finish organization, planning, coordination, and execution of senior-level in-person and virtual engagements and events for the CIO organization, including conferences, road shows, symposiums, and summits, creating polished presentations, videos, demos, and learning materials integrating CIO brand and strategy
- Coordinate with CIO to provide a fully integrated media plan, developing and executing multimedia advertising plans and comprehensive marketing campaigns encompassing creative design, copywriting, graphical design, and multimedia production in both print and electronic formats
- Review and provide technical edits of CIO products including instructions, guidance, white papers, briefings, and other materials for dissemination both internal and external to DIA, ensuring adherence to the DIA Style Manual for Intelligence Production, 508 Accessibility compliance, and DIA briefing templates
Required Qualifications- Active TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred)
- Minimum 12 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, multimedia production, or a closely related field, with at least a portion of that experience within the last 2 years
- Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university or Bachelor's degree and 14 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree and 16 years of relevant experience, or 18 years of relevant experience in place of a degree
- Demonstrated leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing strategic communication techniques aligned with organizational mission objectives
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, supervise studies and campaigns, and lead cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and deliver data-driven communication products
