Purpose:Athene is seeking an innovative and motivated professional to join our marketing analytics team that uses data & insights to inform strategic & targeted marketing campaigns. In this role, you'll support the administration & maintenance of marketing data, audiences, and campaign lists that enable the execution of targeted, effective programs.
Accountabilities:- Participate in the collection, management, and dissemination of internal & external data to support marketing campaign & database initiatives.
- Create, manage, and audit audience lists and segments for email, direct mail, call, event, and advertising campaigns.
- Gather and document requirements for audience selection criteria, and where appropriate make recommendations for targeted segmentation.
- Ensure all campaign lists are compliant with the applicable marketing preferences & restrictions of each distribution partner.
- Translate data and analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for all processes and procedures.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement repeatable or automated solutions, where applicable.
- Contribute to a data-driven marketing culture by advancing knowledge of data assets among business partners.
- Maintain up-to-date data dictionaries and glossaries to ensure data quality and consistent use across the team
Qualifications and Experience:- 3+ years of relevant experience wrangling, analyzing, and interpreting data in a business setting, or relevant experience.
- Familiarity with relational databases and ability to merge and analyze data from various sources and of differing formats.
- Experience using SQL to query and join large, complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Comfort leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to augment or accelerate workflows.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, another quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
