To be a recognized leader in executions and interactions with customers by embodying Edrington's commercial excellence principles and luxury behaviours.The Market Manager manages all aspects of the assigned channel(s) within the territory, working closely with their Edrington counterparts and Distributor teams, to deliver short-term results and build long-term brand value. Key pillars of the position include Implementing Distributor Programming, Brand Building, Pricing Strategy. Success in the position will deliver (or over-deliver) against defined annual goals and continued exceptional growth of the Edrington brands including The Macallan, Highland Park, Glenrothes, Brugal Rum, Wyoming Whiskey, and No. 3 Gin. The Market Manager will also play a key role, supporting the Area/Regional Manager and working in close collaboration with the distributor partner to shape the business in their territory in all trade channels (focus on/off).

Make an Impact

  • Support territory strategy with focus on Macallan and key brands
  • Communicate priorities to drive distributor engagement and buy-in
  • Partner with Marketing and Operations to deliver strong in-market results
  • Optimize resources to meet brand standards and growth targets
  • Drive growth of premium brands while supporting long-term brand building
  • Accelerate priority brand performance and expand distribution (incl. e-commerce)
  • Deliver IMD targets to achieve revenue and profit goals
  • Track performance via Aforza to ensure KPI delivery
  • Build strong distributor relationships and drive high performance
  • Execute marketing plans and activations while protecting brand integrity
  • Monitor pricing, competition, and market trends
  • Ensure supply, compliance, and excellent customer service
  • Demonstrate leadership and complete administrative requirements
  • Manage inventory and POS materials

Your Talent and Skills

  • Brand Specialist/Ambassador or equivalent work experience is a plus
  • 3+ years in FMCG, beverage, or luxury brands preferred
  • Passion for super premium spirits (Scotch, Rum, Bourbon, Gin)
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Positive, adaptable mindset with a proactive approach
  • Strong organisational and event coordination skills
  • Confident in networking, selling, and engaging varied audiences
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable using social media and relevant technology tools
  • Able to work independently, manage schedules, and think creatively
  • Experience in events, commercial, or marketing environments preferred
  • Understanding of on/off trade and market data (e.g. Nielsen/IRI)
  • Flexible to work evenings/weekends and occasional travel
  • Must be based locally and eligible to work
  • Able to handle setup of event materials and equipment as needed
