Full Job Description
The Market Leader leads restaurant operations in a market area to achieve strategic objectives. They guide Operating Partners and ensure that the Whataburger experience is provided to customers and Family Members.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Operating Partners, Ops Leadership and Support System teams to increase profitability.
  • Strategizes, plans, and supports new units and market growth.
  • Visits restaurants to ensure Whataburger standard operating procedures are being followed.
  • Supports Whataburger mission, works towards its vision, role-models its core values, and champions company initiatives.
  • Promotes Whataburger brand.
  • Provides timely communication.
  • Identifies opportunities and makes well-reasoned decisions even in unpredictable situations.
  • Coaches and develops Family Members to build the talent pipeline.
