Position Summary

The Market & Customer Activation Manager, Automotive & Industry USA, is responsible for leading marketing planning, coordination, and activation across the Automotive & Industry business in the United States. This role drives alignment between Global Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Distribution partners, and Digital Operations to ensure marketing initiatives support strategic business priorities, accelerate growth opportunities, and strengthen market leadership.

The position serves as the central point of coordination for marketing communication strategy execution, campaign activation, content deployment, and performance measurement. By leveraging global resources, scaling best practices, and optimizing marketing investments, the Marketing Manager ensures efficient execution and measurable business impact across customer segments and channels.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy & Planning: Lead the annual marketing planning process and maintain an integrated roadmap aligned with business goals, growth initiatives, product launches, and Global Marketing priorities. Establish governance, prioritization, budgeting, and performance-management processes that connect marketing investments to business outcomes.
  • Market & Customer Activation: Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, demand generation, market penetration, and growth across core and emerging segments. Develop customer-centric value propositions and activation strategies in partnership with Sales, BDMs, Channel Management, and Product Management.
  • Product Launches & Enablement: Lead marketing activation for new product launches, including campaign plans, sales enablement, customer communications, and channel support. Ensure marketing programs effectively support both direct customers and distribution partners.
  • Content & Brand Management: Manage centralized marketing content and maximize reuse of Global Marketing assets through a "copy with pride" approach. Ensure consistent brand positioning, messaging, visual identity, customer experience, and regulatory compliance across USA marketing activities and channel touchpoints.
  • Digital & Demand Generation: Partner with Global Marketing, Americas Corporate Marketing, Digital teams, and agencies to scale digital marketing, demand generation, lead nurturing, customer engagement, and marketing automation programs. Leverage analytics and best practices to improve campaign performance and ROI.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Serve as the primary owner of marketing planning, activation, governance, and budget coordination for Automotive & Industry USA. Represent USA market priorities within Global Marketing, facilitate cross-regional best-practice sharing, and promote collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance & Optimization: Establish and monitor key marketing KPIs, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and use data-driven insights to optimize programs, resource allocation, and marketing investments.

Key Success Measures

Success will be measured by achievement of annual marketing and growth objectives; effective execution of product launches and strategic initiatives; improved marketing ROI and investment effectiveness; strong alignment across Sales, Product Management, Global Marketing, and regional teams; increased customer engagement, demand generation, and brand awareness; and adoption of scalable content, processes, and digital marketing capabilities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably in automotive, industrial, manufacturing, construction, chemicals, or related technical industries.
  • Experience using project management tools, such as Trello, Jira, Asana, Workfront, or other similar platforms
  • Proven track record developing and executing integrated marketing, demand generation, customer activation, product launch, and growth strategies.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience partnering with Sales, Product Management, Channel Management, and business leaders in global/matrixed environments.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies, resources, and multiple priorities.
  • Strong digital marketing, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and campaign optimization skills; experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Adobe Marketo Engage, Pardot, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Data-driven, strategic, customer-focused thinker with strong communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and translate business objectives into measurable marketing outcomes.
  • Experience with product commercialization, distribution channels, specification-driven selling, or technical B2B markets preferred.
