What You Will Do:
  • Lead market and operational readiness activities for new renewable power assets, helping ensure projects are prepared for successful commissioning and operational acceptance.

  • Partner with project, engineering, operations, commercial, and supply chain teams to align priorities, resolve issues, and support informed decision-making throughout project execution.

  • Coordinate and facilitate design reviews to verify operational requirements, standards, and specifications are incorporated into project delivery.

  • Monitor and track operational readiness milestones, ensuring requirements are completed and documented throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Support quality assurance, inspection, testing, and turnover activities to ensure assets are ready for efficient operation.

  • Identify, track, and help resolve deficiencies and readiness gaps while collaborating with stakeholders to reduce operational and project risk.

  • Provide recommendations and readiness insights that support asset handover, final acceptance decisions, and successful integration into operations.


Who You Are:
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting renewable power, utilities, energy infrastructure, or related projects.

  • Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups in a project, operational, or technical environment.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, supplier documentation, contracts, and installation procedures.

  • Strong understanding of project execution, operational readiness, project turnover, and asset acceptance processes.

  • Proven ability to identify issues, assess risks, and develop practical solutions that support operational objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, facilitate productive discussions, influence outcomes without direct authority, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and deliver results while managing competing priorities.


Preferred:
  • Experience supporting renewable generation, utility-scale power, or energy infrastructure projects through commissioning, turnover, and operational integration.


Working Conditions:
  • Primarily office-based with regular travel to project and field locations to observe, support, and monitor work activities.

  • Ability and willingness to travel across North America as required to support project execution and operational readiness activities.

  • Fast-paced work environment with multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines driven by project schedules.

  • Occasional visits to operating facilities, construction sites, and field locations may be required.


Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.


Base Salary:
  • Base salary ranges from $81,090 – $106,500 CAD for Ontario locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Base salary ranges from $80,500 – $105,500 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
