Market Access & Strategy Manager| Atos Medical-US | New Berlin, WI | Remote

We are seeking a Market Access & Strategy Manager to join our team!

SUMMARY

Lead the development and execution of our Market Access strategy while supporting broader commercial growth initiatives primarily for Trach and Indirect sales models. Responsible for developing and securing market access and coverage for strategic and emerging technologies with payers and provider organizations, including commercial and government payers. Develops and executes tools and value propositions for payer, HCPs, and other stakeholders to advocate and remove barriers to access and ensure coverage for Atos Medical devices. Work with Trach and Indirect business partners to develop and implement new strategies to drive growth. These key strategies are developed in alignment with business objectives associated with development, launch and life cycle management of the portfolio. This position ensures ongoing assessment and adaption of strategies to maintain market access, garner market share and work collaboratively with cross functionally teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute a U.S. Market Access strategy to improve reimbursement, patient access, and commercial results, including lives covered analysis to identify market penetration opportunities.
    • Oversees the development of tools to demonstrate the value of Atos Medical portfolio of products and serves as a resource to communicate Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) related materials/data.
    • Identifies US evidence gaps and market access requirements, provides input and closely collaborates across teams on product value propositions and outcomes needed to support US reimbursement and market access;
    • Leads implementation of Payer engagement strategy and tactical planning activities required to achieve strategic coverage objectives including payer team tools, provider access tools, sales team messaging, etc.
    • Identifies key health coverage needs for Atos Medical platform products, working with divisional counterparts and health economics and outcomes research colleagues to determine actions required.
    • Monitors policy developments that impact the coverage of Atos Medical products.
    • Closely partners with Strategic Payers to drive two-way understanding of requirements, provide data, collaterals and programs to be leverage with Strategic Customers and when need provide direct or leveraged content knowledge
    • Educates internal colleagues on the Market Access function and its role in creating value propositions for the non-clinical stakeholder throughout the product life cycle
    • Oversees and assists in articulating the clinical and economic value proposition of Atos Medical products and services to advocate to payers, hospital administraters and other HCP devision makers.
    • Develops and implements strategies associated with shaping and influencing the commercial payers and government payment policies including Medicare and Medicaid
    • Monitor latest health economic trends and assess impact to our business
  • Support and develop other strategic initiatives with Tracheostomy and Indirect line of business including GPOs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree with focus in life science, health economics, healthcare administration or related field
  • 5+ years of medical device / technology industry, pharmaceuticals, managed care and/or health related industry


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced degree (e.g. MBA, MPH, PhD) preferred
  • Experience working for patient-focused Medical Device companies and understand the needs for engagement with the HCP and patient community, including the administration of benefits programs policies, and procedures.


SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Strong understanding and application of principles and concepts in market access, reimbursement and/or health economics
  • Experience advocating for medical policy coverage with health plans (Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid programs) and provider/membership organizations
  • Strong business acumen; experience working with various business partners (Sales, Marketing, Medical Science Liaisons, Clinical Program Managers)
  • Success in developing and executing strategies and tools that showcase the healthcare economic benefit of specific therapies and products
  • Experience working with healthcare stakeholders (payers, hospitals), trade associations, professional and medical organizations, and ability to develop mutually beneficial health economics initiatives
  • In-depth understanding of and experience in Health Technology Assessment preferred
  • Familiarity with coverage, coding, and payment constructs for medical devices and associated services across all healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of clinical and economic modelling in healthcare
  • Travel up to 30%, primarily domestic
