Manufacturing Training Coordinator
Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:
This role leads the development, deployment, strategy, and training of the Training 4 Excellence (T4E) program across the manufacturing site. This role will provide leadership, guidance, coordination, and functional direction to drive and sustain improvements in personnel capability and performance utilizing CI principles and training strategies to deliver improved results in the facility. The incumbent reports directly to the site Continuous Improvement and Capabilities Manager; and will receive some direction from KCNA Training & Capability Sr. Manager. The position is responsible for executing the KCNA T4E multi-year strategy, addressing site specific training needs/gaps and engaging team members across the organization, to drive continuous improvement through training and capability improvements of Manufacturing/Operations & Maintenance & Reliability team members. This role will provide day-to-day work direction for the trainers/training coordinators throughout the site along with teaching, coaching, and mentoring other site team members. Actively pursues and supports standard training solutions across the site and within the KCNA Supply Chain.

Safety
- Partner with the site safety team on training standards, documentation, and compliance.
- Ensure training materials reflect current safety requirements and lessons learned.
- Embed a strong safety mindset in all classroom and on-the-floor training.
- Support site safety systems and comply with all corporate and site safety policies.
Quality- Partner with the site quality team on training standards, documentation, and compliance.
- Ensure training materials align with current quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a quality-first mindset through all training programs.
People- Model Kimberly-Clark and Warren Plant Values and Ways of Working.
- Lead, coach, and develop the On-the-Job (OJT) to achieve training objectives.
- Mentor OJT and support site-wide training capability development.
- Own Warren Plant Learning Management System (LMS)
Delivery – Training Strategy & Execution- Lead deployment of site training strategy aligned with KCNA T4E and Plant priorities.
- Develop and manage annual training plans, objectives, and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with T4E standards across onboarding, qualification, certification, refresh training, and leadership development.
Delivery – Metrics & Continuous Improvement- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure training program effectiveness.
- Conduct audits and health checks to ensure compliance with training standards.
Cost- Manage training resources and budgets responsibly.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial and internal control requirements.
Communication & Meetings- Communicate training priorities, progress, issues, and results to stakeholders.
- Provide timely coaching and feedback to trainers and trainees.
- Participate in KCNA T4E meetings, workshops, and continuous improvement reviews.
Change Management- Champion and communicate training-related changes.
- Lead and influence adoption of new processes and initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience in a high-speed industrial manufacturing environment/plant experience.
- Extensive experience in several of the following: Learning and Development, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Lean Manufacturing, and Maintenance.
- Experience in a variety of plant and staff assignments is desired along with a familiarity with other related disciplines and business functions to enable a system-wide view.
- Adept understanding of training systems, tools, technology, processes, and adult learning styles
- Normal scheduled hours are days but can vary based on the need to support a 24/7 Operation; Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to travel up to 15% for team meetings, training workshops, benchmarking and best practice sharing across KCNA
