Responsibilities

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership across HFTC semiconductor operations. This role partners closely with Industrial Engineers, Operations, Engineering, Planning/Supply Chain, and IT/OT teams to improve factory performance, Industrial Engineering systems, and operational execution.
The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical mentor, helping establish Industrial Engineering standards, guide complex problem solving, and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve throughput, cycle time, delivery performance, and cost.
This is a non-people-manager role with strong expectations for technical leadership and program execution.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship
• Mentor Industrial Engineers across capacity, analytics, CI, and factory systems.
• Establish IE standards, methods, and best practices.
• Review and guide major analyses, recommendations, and improvement plans.
• Drive knowledge sharing and capability development across the team.
• Provide technical guidance for complex factory challenges.
Project Management & Execution
• Lead cross-functional programs spanning capacity, analytics, factory systems, and continuous improvement.
• Define project scope, milestones, risks, and success metrics.
• Align Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT/OT teams.
• Track progress and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
• Ensure improvements deliver measurable business results that are sustained.
Factory Performance & Systems Integration
• Provide oversight across capacity, analytics, CI, and factory systems initiatives.
• Identify gaps and improvement opportunities across manufacturing areas.
• Align capacity, analytics, continuous improvement, and factory systems initiatives across manufacturing areas.
• Support throughput, cycle time, productivity, and cost improvement efforts.
• Drive adoption of AI and advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency and factory performance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing systems, factory operations, or manufacturing analytics.
• Experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication environments.
• Experience leading factory improvement initiatives involving capacity, analytics, continuous improvement, manufacturing systems, or operational performance.
• Technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate analysis into aligned actions and measurable outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with factory scheduling, planning, dispatching, or simulation tools.
• Experience implementing or supporting ERP, MES, or manufacturing business systems.
• Experience applying AI, automation, or advanced analytics to improve manufacturing operations and decision making.
• Experience developing standardized Industrial Engineering methods, reporting frameworks, or best practices.

The role will be based at our HQ in Santa Rosa, CA. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to Santa Rosa area.

This position requires access to certain goods, software, technology, or technical data subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

Santa Rosa, CA MIN $124,420-MID $165,890- MAX $207,370
