Full Job Description

Manufacturing Quality Engineer designs and implements robust quality controls with growing independence. Leads routine root-cause/corrective actions (RCCA), conducts capability and validation studies, collaborates with production to drive efficiency and product quality, and supports PPAP/NPA readiness.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
  • Develop & maintain control plans/inspection plans; lead gauge R&R/MSA; perform capability and stability analyses.
  • Plan/execute DV/PV process validations and sampling plans; create verification protocols/reports.
  • Lead RCCA & corrective actions (8D/A3), nonconformance disposition, and effectiveness checks.
  • Updat3e PFMEA, link controls to failure mode; prepare/compile PPAP evidence for submission.
  • Coach technicians/operators on best practices; partner with Manufacturing/Quality/Design on DFM/DFA and change control.
  • Prepare clear reports and present risk/status to stakeholders.


What Do You Need?

We are building a quality engineering team for the future and are interested in candidates at multiple career levels. The level at which a candidate is hired will be determined based on their qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.

Minimum qualifications by level include:
  • Quality Engineer I: 0-2 years of experience in metal manufacturing
  • Quality Engineer II: 2-4 years of experience in metal manufacturing
  • Quality Engineer III: 4-7 (+) years of experience in metal manufacturing

Other Job-Related Components:
  • Working Conditions: This role will require 5-days on site at TTC's manufacturing plant in Shakopee, MN. Fully remote is not available.
  • Travel Requirements: May require occasional travel to other TTC sites, distribution centers, or supplier locations.

It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $80,000 - $120,000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance.
