Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer, Senior

HX5 is currently seeking a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in support of the Mobility and Training Aircraft Program Office at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • This position supports the Mobility and Training Aircraft Program Office and will demonstrate an understanding of DoD acquisition processes.
  • Assist in developing and accessing defect prevention strategies and processes for development, production, and deployment of hardware.
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) analyses to ensure hardware systems acquired by the USG can be produced by controlled manufacturing processes at manageable risk to cost, schedule, or user satisfaction.
  • Support quality audits to include hardware audits
  • Assist in hardware quality evaluations by disassembly, inspection, and testing of a representative unit of production to the assembly level.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years Government Acquisition experience.

Education and Experience
  • Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited school and fifteen (15) years of related experience.
    • Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited school and twelve (12) years of related experience.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be willing to travel, including air travel.
