Job DescriptionYou will be the Manufacturing Planner for the Production, Planning and Control organization. The Production Planning & Control (PP&C) organization is a critical component of Lockheed Martin's manufacturing operations, responsible for developing and executing plans to produce high-quality products on time and within budget. As a key enabler of production success, PP&C teams work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize production schedules, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Manufacturing Planner, you will work in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.
- Coordinates with Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time-phased plan for procured parts. Utilizing MRP reports, follow actions in the supply chain to ensure material is ordered and delivered to meet production, the subsequent process of the supply chain.
- Coordinates with Manufacturing and Operations Management to determine appropriate lot sizing strategy for make assemblies, analyzes requirements and executes the MRP plan by releasing work orders, ensures implementation of engineering changes to assemblies, and provides timely status to ensure operating schedules are met.
- This position typically requires 2-6 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree and 1-4 years or a combination of education and experience.

Past experience with Make and Buy Planning, manufacturing and/or Make Planning experience
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
Desired skillsPossess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
SAP ERP experience
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge.

Green belt trained and or certified

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,600 - $106,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
