Job Description:

Ecolab is seeking a Reliability Manager II to support our plant operations team. As a Reliability Manager II, you will lead and develop a high-performing maintenance organization, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. You will partner closely with the Plant Manager and cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure efficient use of labor and materials within budget.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians to achieve plant performance goals
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and productivity
  • Manage and optimize the maintenance labor budget and material spend to ensure cost-effective operations
  • Develop and track maintenance budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to support operational targets
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance best practices
  • Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve asset reliability
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and drive root cause analysis
  • Oversee contractors, consultants, and project work as required based on plant size and scope
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource constraints and operational challenges
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for maintenance strategies, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives

Position Details (Location & Work Schedule):
  • Location: Plant-based role (on-site)
  • Work Schedule: Standard business hours with flexibility to support plant operations, including off-hours as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within an industrial environment
  • Multi-trade maintenance background (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and maintenance operations effectively
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and make decisions aligned with business objectives
  • Expert in PLC programming, VFD systems, and AllenBradley controls, with strong troubleshooting capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of supervisory or management experience in an industrial setting (Global Operations standard)
  • 10+ years of experience in an engineering or reliability discipline (for Reliability-focused roles)
  • Experience implementing reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) or predictive maintenance programs
  • Experience managing large teams, contractors, and capital or maintenance projects

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $120,500.00 - $180,700.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
