Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing operations within metal finishing, machining, aerospace, or industrial repair environments.
• Demonstrated success in enhancing throughput and optimizing capacity utilization.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience in developing and managing KPI-driven performance systems.
• Knowledge of Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Ability to analyze and manage production metrics effectively.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and surface finish specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across plating and finishing operations.
• Assess and enhance production capacity across multiple manufacturing processes.
• Analyze workflows and design optimized processes for throughput and lead time reduction.
• Implement Lean tools like Gemba, 5S, and Visual Management to streamline operations.
• Develop KPI dashboards targeting Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity.
• Reduce cycle times and eliminate waste to boost operational performance.
• Coach supervisors and production staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
