As part of the Central Division, you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs such as the Boeing 777 and Embraer E-2, and important military programs such as F-18, F-35, C-17 and C-130.

Summary:The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for overall engineering for specific parts/projects throughout the manufacturing process, including all electroplating processes, grinding, honing, bushing installation, and paint.
Main responsibilities:- Formulating manufacturing process plans by using Bills of Material, Project Development Schedules, and Operation Detail Sheets.
- Investigating the entry of the above into the MRP system - BaaN.
- Reviewing Contract Review forms for accuracy to the quote.
- Liaising with customers regarding part revision changes and informing pertinent departments by incorporating these changes into the Master Process Plan.
- Initiating the design and purchase of fixtures, special tools and handling equipment required.
- Developing rework schemes.
- Studying and improving the manufacturing process by monitoring quality, cycle times and methods of operations.
- Working with operators on the floor to develop solutions or process improvements.
- Document & maintain traceability in accordance with all quality standards, such as AS9100 and NADCAP.
Our ideal candidate:- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering environment. Preference in the aerospace industry.
- Possess a solid foundation in manufacturing engineering practices and processes.
- Computer software literacy. (Office, Catia V5, Microsoft Project)
- Familiarity with BaaN or SAP a plus.
