Job Summary: Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a strategic and results-driven Manufacturing Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. They will lead a team of production supervisors, implement process improvements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing management and a proven record of accomplishment in improving productivity and quality.
Job Duties:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department
- Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and production goals
- Monitor production processes and adjust as needed to ensure efficiency and quality
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
- Manage and optimize the use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing management
- Prepare and present reports on production performance and initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving results
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to analyze data and use it to drive performance improvements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
- Knowledge of electrical control panel manufacturing is preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
