In this role you will get to:- Demonstrate Trystar's guiding principles and values.
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for electrical and metal fabrication equipment, ensuring efficient production flow, adherence to quality standards, and optimization of resources.
- Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing engineering team across the Faribault site, ensuring alignment with company goals, objectives, and the Trystar Vision.
- Collaborate with manufacturing & operations leadership to develop and implement a cohesive manufacturing strategy, encompassing all facets of our vertical manufacturing capabilities to ensure safety and optimize productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Team to help implement automation, strategic change and long term RDE work into the manufacturing environment.
- Provide leadership to the manufacturing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, managing the team for the most efficient & effective execution while role modeling Trystar's Guiding Principles and Values.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, employing methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other applicable methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall performance.
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of new products, technologies, and processes into manufacturing operations to ensure manufacturability & scalability of new products.
- Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute the successful launch of new products, coordinating activities, including process development, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to site manufacturing engineering team, facilitating knowledge sharing and best practice implementation.
- Utilize project management methodologies to plan, schedule, and coordinate manufacturing engineering activities for various projects. Track & manage project milestones, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for automation, robotics, and other advanced manufacturing technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
- Foster a culture of innovation and employee development, promoting continuous learning, professional growth, and engagement within the manufacturing engineering teams.
Job Requirements:- A passion for Trystar, its culture, and its strategic vision.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience (5-7 years) in manufacturing engineering roles within the metal fabrication and/or electrical/mechanical assembly industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proven track record of successfully managing manufacturing engineering teams or projects.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high growth, rapid changing manufacturing environment.
