Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Engineer V develops, reviews and evaluates manufacturing processes, working with the engineering and production teams on product design and tooling to ensure that manufacturing goals are achieved safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities- Develop, build, and refine production/manufacturing engineering processes, partnering with engineering and production teams on product design and tooling to ensure efficient production processes
- Investigate new manufacturing and tooling methods
- Assist in establishing manufacturing and assembly processes for new production programs
- Design new manufacturing fixtures for new and existing products
- Work with the engineering and the production teams on product design and tooling to ensure efficient production processes
- Integrate new products and product refinements into production
- Develop manufacturing processes related to assembly and automation
- Determine the manufacturing processes required to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification
QualificationsExperience:
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR (14) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. OR (8) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree. OR (5) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.Additional Information This position may require access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition of any job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you may need to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
