Spartronics- Manufacturing Engineer
Brooksville, FL | On-Site Work PositionReports to: Engineering Manager

As a
Manufacturing Engineer at Spartronics, you'll serve as a key technical leader supporting customer products and manufacturing operations. You'll help ensure products are built efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards while acting as a technical bridge between customers and production teams.
What a Day Looks Like:- Responsible for the development and improvement of process documentation such as work instructions, manufacturing procedures, checklists, troubleshooting guides, and assembly quality plans.
- Reviews customer engineering changes and implements into production
- Supports all aspects of the process in interpreting and clarifying customer product documentation, defining manufacturing processes and providing manufacturing support of the assigned products.
- Provides key support of manufacturing productivity, efficiency, and quality, by leading and working within technical support teams to improve cycle times and reduce manufacturing costs and defects.
- Leads the technical management aspects of new product builds. Performing design for manufacturability reviews and risk analysis to ensure the efficient assembly methods are in place before new products are released into production responsibility
- Leader for product specific and site-wide continuous improvement initiatives/activities
- Supports quality department in developing inspection criteria, qualifying vendors, evaluating defects, and generating thorough and effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementations.
- Interface effectively with other organizations such as suppliers, purchasing, component engineering, and customer service as needed.
- Adhere to the documented quality management system.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in EMS or OEM manufacturing environments
- Experience supporting printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing and processes
- Strong Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
- Working knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing controls, and process improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities independently

Salary Description
$80,000- $95,000/annually
