Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day

Provide daily support to the manufacturing processes used to produce parts for turbine generators. Work with the manufacturing team to improve safety, improve quality, reduce cycle times, and reduce manufacturing costs. Assist the maintenance team with troubleshooting process equipment. Design and procure tooling as needed to support the manufacturing processes. Identify and evaluate the needs for new equipment and new manufacturing processes to enhance competitiveness.

  • Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Your attention to quality and ability to drive process improvements will be an integral part of the success of Siemens Energy, worldwide and in Fort Payne, AL.
  • Will provide day-to-day tactical support of area responsible for the stator coil manufacturing.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as design, production, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of processes and to address any issues that arise.
  • You will challenge the status quo and look for new, innovative ways to manufacture our products.
What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with manufacturing tools and technologies, showcasing expertise in project planning and process optimization.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software and Microsoft Office, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, adaptable to changing work environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
