  • Develop safer solutions to reduce shop floor injuries
  • Oversee manual assembly line transfers for optimal efficiency

Full Job Description
This role will include up to 15% travel during the first 9-12 months to support product line relocation and project execution activities. The percentage of travel will be minimal after this time period, fully supporting our Fairfield, OH facility.

What will you do?
• Specializes in several areas of knowledge regarding production / manufacturing processes: process design, ergonomics, capacity, simulation tools, investment, and cost analysis
• Strongly contributes to / leads continuous improvement actions
• Participates actively to Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and is responsible for ensuring that process robustness continuously replies to the needs of quality.
• Contributes to the development of new products (manufacturability, feasibility)
• Studies the feasibility & profitability of investments adapted to the needs.
• Manages Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) by updating material, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and routings when modifications are required by Engineering
• Responsible for deploying Lean methodologies to improve safety, quality or productivity: which may include Value Stream Mapping, Line Architecture Design Methodology (LADM), Material Providing & Handling (MPH), Six Sigma DMAIC, FMEA, Kaizen
• Responsible for monitoring efficiency indicators, KE, OEE, NEE, IE and to take actions to improve the efficiency and capacity of the line.
• Reduce shop floor injuries by introducing safer and ergonomically better solutions for our employees.
• Lead manual assembly line transfer and installation for optimal one-piece flow.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/technical position working with plant processes
• Lean Manufacturing Knowledge
• Experience in manufacturing processes
• Experience in Excel, Macros, SQL, Tableau, MES and AutoCAD

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
